FFEA and Edinburgh Napier University invite you to submit papers for the 4th CINSC/ 2025 INFINITI Conference.
Papers, abstracts and workshop proposals can be submitted here . Submissions will be taken until March 1 2025.
Theme
We welcome all papers and workshops in the broad fields of International, Climate and Green finance, welcoming in particular their interactions with each other and how they can aid the sustainable growth of economies, corporations and organizations. We welcome papers in the area of international financial integration and financial globalization. Papers that examine these issues on their own are welcomed, but papers which examine the overlaps, interstices, conflicts and concordances are highly welcome!
Timeline
Papers and extended abstracts, as well as proposals for workshops and panel discussions, should be submitted by 10 March 2025. Submissions and Registrations will open in early 2025
About the Conference
Conference Logistics
- Conference sessions will take place at Edinburgh Napier University
- The conference will be in person only.
- Sessions typically last for 90m, and contain one workshop/roundtable or three papers with discussants.
- Authors of accepted papers will be required to also act as discussants.
- We do not issue visa letters or letters of support. We do issue letters of acceptance of papers or proposals which should act for this.
- Conference fees are all inclusive of meals and supporting documentation

Sunday June 8 : 1300-1800 Doctoral Skills workshop
Monday June 9: 0830-1730 Conference, Keynote speaker, workshops
Monday June 9: 1900 Social Event
Tuesday June 10: 0830-1730 Conference, Meet the editors, workshops
Tuesday June 10 : 1900 Gala Dinner, prize giving.
Conference attendance fee is likely to be in the region of £400-500.

We have agreed a number of special issues, in principle. More details will come as available. Papers must in the first instance have been presented at the conference. The indicative timeline is as follows: August 1st 2025 submissions open and October 15th submissions close, with the expected date of publication in quarter one of 2026

Local Organization
Professors Januzs Brzeszczyński and Anna Du
Keynote Speaker : Professor Richard Tol, Sussex University
Previously, he was a Research Professor at the Economic and Social Research Institute, Dublin, the Michael Otto Professor of Sustainability and Global Change at Hamburg University and an Adjunct Professor, Department of Engineering and Public Policy, Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, PA, USA. He has had visiting appointments at the Canadian Centre for Climate Research, University of Victoria, British Colombia, at the Centre for Social and Economic Research on the Global Environment, University College London, and at the Princeton Environmental Institute and the Department of Economics, Princeton University.
Richard received an M.Sc. in econometrics (1992) and a Ph.D. in economics (1997) from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. He is ranked among the top 100 economists in the world, and has over 300 publications in learned journals (with 100+ co-authors), one book, three edited volumes, and many minor publications.
He specializes in the economics of energy, environment, and climate, and is interested in tourism and scientometrics.
